We are proud to announce the results of our recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) unannounced inspection. The Harley Street Breast Clinic was rated as Good in all areas. We showed some oustanding practice as well as some areas in which they recommended improvements, details of which you can find in our report.

 

The CQC are the UK's national auditing body for healthcare providers and they inspect both NHS and private facilities. The CQC inspect to a framework in order to standardise ratings and provide clear and transparent guidance to patients choosing where to attend for their healthcare needs.

 

The CQC audit against their fundamental standards:

Person-centred care, dignity and respect, consent, safety, safeguarding from abuse, food and drink, premises and equipment, complaints, good governance, staffing, fit and proper staff, duty of candour, display of ratings.

 

The CQC then grade against the following meaures:

Safe, effective, caring, responsive, well led.
